“Everyday Living”

Christianity is so much more than a personal religion. It is, above all else, a collective response to the love of God as revealed through Jesus Christ. It is, however, also a way of life. Informed by the example of Jesus and lived through the power of Christ’s Spirit at work in us, it is an approach to every aspect of our existence in the world and our relationships with others.

The Gospel of Luke, in addition to providing “an orderly account of the events that have happened among us” (Luke 1:1), offers extremely practical examples of Christian living that continue to have relevance in our modern culture. Through the remainder of the Church Year we will utilize passages from the latter half of Luke’s Gospel to consider “Everyday Living.” How does one live out one’s Christian faith in the world?
