Current Study: “Making Sense of the Bible” by Adam Hamilton

This author invites us into an honest conversation about the Bible. The book begins with foundational questions such as, How and when was the Bible written? Who decided which books made it into the scriptures and why? How literally must we read it? And, Is the Bible ever wrong? From there, Hamilton considers the real questions people frequently ask that continue to divide Christians and denominations alike.

Wednesday Night Bible Study and Prayer Group

Each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Dr. King leads us through a study of the alternative lectionary text for the following Sunday. This gives us a chance to take a look at another biblical passage related to the theme for that week’s worship. Following the discussion there is a time of prayer for the concerns of the church family and their friends.
